Rainwater tanks seen as a solution in Uganda
UGANDA – The residents of Nakyenyi Village in Lwengo Sub-County Masaka District finally appear to have found a solution to their age-long problem of lack of clean, safe water. It has always been a general problem in this region locally known as Kajjumba.
A local development association has joined with a UK-based organization to build water tanks.
These 5,000 gallon tanks will be used to store rainwater collected from village rooftops.
