Nigeria sets pricetag for safe water
BAUCHI, Nigeria – Bauchi State government said it will require N1 billion to address the perennial water shortage in the metropolis.
Dr Sale Toro, the chairman of the Bauchi State Water Assessment Committee, disclosed this in Bauchi while presenting the report of the committee to Governor Isa Yuguda.
Toro said the amount would enable the state government to implement the short-term recommendation of the committee, designed to end water shortages in the metropolis.
