South Africa urging water conservation
CAPE TOWN – The city of Cape Town has urged residents to be responsible and continue to conserve water.
In its drive to cut water wastage, the city has been installing water-saving devices for the past five months.
“Conserving water should become part of culture, we are lucky we had good rains last year, but who knows what the future holds for us if we waste it?” said water demand department manager Zolile Basholo.
