Toxic water panics Indians
FARIDKOT – A sudden increase in water-borne diseases over the past two weeks due to highly toxic and polluted drinking water has made residents in Faridkot, Muktsar and Abohar areas panicky as authorities have not been able to improve the situation.
The situation is so worrisome, the Times of India reports, that many families have stopped drinking water supplied by the Water Supply and Sewerage Board because it is black in color and emits a foul odor.
